Manufacturing Capabilities
Psicon’s workshop capabilities allow us to manufacture and repair any parts of a piston compressor or turbo machinery.
Mechanical department
We have an extensive mechanical department with:
- CNC 5-AXIS MILLING UP TO 3100 x 2700 x 1200
- CNC 4.5-AXIS MILLING UP TO 1300 MM
- CNC 3-AXIS MILLING UP TO 1600 MM
- CNC VERTICAL TURNING UP TO Ø2300 x 2000 MM
- CNC HORIZONTAL TURNING UP TO Ø1900 x 6400 MM
- CNC WIRE ERODING (EDM)
- Heat treatment facilities, including material treatment furnaces.
Balancing Department
Our balancing department has multiple low speed balancing machines and 2x high speed balancing machine. One HSB for rotors upto 3500 kg and one HSB for rotors up to 12000kg. Also spin tests are done in house.
Quality Department & Material Laboratory
Our temperature and pressure controlled quality department has a number of CMM measuring machines. A photogrammetry based CMM system from Zeiss/Gom. In addition, a material stress testing machine, structural analysis microscopes and positive material investigation equipment (PMI).
Reverse Engineering and 3D Scanning
Psicon has a modern reverse engineering department supported by state-of-the-art 3D scanning tools and capabilities. We can reverse engineer any part of your reciprocating compressor or turbo machinery.
